Why Us, Why Now?  Location, convenience, price and experience. Great fishing and hospitality for 26 years. Flights are as cheap as they have been in quite awhile and our rates are very reasonable compared to other popular fly fishing destinations. It’s that simple.

Getting Here – Fly or drive. If flying, you have two choices. Catch a flight from your local airport and connect in Denver, Colorado to the Casper-Natrona Airport. Rent a car, book a cab or take our shuttle for North Platte Lodge guests. The drive is short and really easy. OR land in Denver and rent a vehicle and drive four hours to Grey Reef Rd. Once you make the turn, it’s on. Our two locations, The Reef Fly Shop Cottages and RV and North Platte Lodge, the boat ramp and some of the best trout water anywhere. All of this and nothing more stacked along a mile long, dead end road.

Lodging and Fly Fishing –  We have options to fit all budgets and tastes.

The North Platte Lodge is the go-to if you prefer a no-hassle fly fishing vacation. You show up and we take care of the details. Great meals, comfortable accommodations at the prime Grey Reef location and a hard working guide crew. Walk out to fish some of the best trout water in the universe.

The Reef Fly Shop, Cottages & RV is the Grey Reef fly shop with all the gear and advice. Onsite and a minute drive from the boat ramp are our four vacation rentals, full hook-up RV sites, boat rentals, river shuttles and where you meet your guides for the day.

Is Alcova Only Fly Fishing? Nope, but it’s awesome as are the wing shooting and big game hunting. Lakes for boating and fishing, deep canyon views, western culture and history including the Oregon Trail and Independence Rock and close enough to Casper to stroll the downtown area and grab dinner. Garden Creek Falls and several trails on Casper Mountain.
