Time To Get On The Water

Well, you couldn’t ask for a prettier stretch of weather! The last week to 10 days has been nothing short of amazing, mild temperatures and low winds. Hard to believe it’s the end of January. From looks of it, we should continue this pattern through the week. The long range forecast minus a few punches of snow and cold looks pretty darn good. It would a great time to take advantage of our off-season rates, we have guides wanting to work!

Current fishing and conditions:

GREY REEF: 500cfs. Mostly clear. 5-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1 BB-1 AB. Leeches(natural and brown), reef worms, san juans, PALs and rhinestones. Getting a decent number to grab the streamer on a slow swing and twitch. Grey Reef is currently open from the Dam to Lusby.

FREMONT CANYON: 75cfs. Mostly clear. 4-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1 BB-1 AB. Leeches(natural, brown or black), rhinestone, black RS2 and PALS.

MIRACLE MILE: 550cfs. Mostly clear. 5-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1-2 AB. Leeches(natural, brown or black), HH leech, san juans and various midge stuff. Road conditions to the Mile are good but as always subject to change this time of year. Watch the weather!
