Warming Up


After a frigid couple of weeks we are shaking off the winter blues, the extended forecast shows us making our way into the 50s for the next week or so. It’s officially go-time here in Central Wyoming! Sure, we are going to see more winter weather but the “good stuff” is coming down the pipe. Our crew has been making it out almost daily, getting dialed for for whats to come. Currently, the fishing is good and only going to get better. Needless to say, we are excited for the upcoming season!

Current fishing and conditions:

GREY REEF: 500cfs. Mostly clear to Lusby. 2-6ft, indicator to split shot, 1 BB-3 AB. NYMPHS: Leeches(natural,brown or olive), UV leeches, amber scud, grey scud, orange scud, mayhem midge, grey foam-wing RS2, spanish perdition and all day mays. STREAMERS: rusty t, goldie, articulated goldie, slayer.

FREMONT CANYON: 75cfs. Slightly off colored. 4-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1-3 AB. Leeches(natural, brown or black), reef worm, brassie, foam-wing RS2 andall-day may(black and olive).

MIRACLE MILE: 530cfs. Mostly clear. 4-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1-3 AB. NYMPHS: Leeches(natural, brown or black), HH leech, san juan(red or wine), orange scud, chocolate foam-wing RS2 and mayhem midge(grey). STREAMERS: rusty t, goldie, peanut envy(black), slayer.
