Flows are steady but should drop tomorrow. Fishing has been very good From top to bottom. The floating grass issue is largely irrelevant since the flows dropped. This has been making some very happy anglers. Tricos dry fly is great all AM and the psuedos will bring ’em up in the afternoon. Mostly small fish on psuedos but keep your eye out as there are some sneaky big’uns taking from the surface.
Weather has been excellent with a nice cool down to the low 40s/upper 30s in the eves and highs in the mid 80s.
Had our first sage grouse hunt of the season out yesterday and it was tough but moderately successful. We have seen a few Blue Grouse and some good coveys of Huns so things might shape up nicely for the cast and blasts. Let’s hope!
