Where have we been? I have lost a bunch of fly fishing reports since we launched the new site. Apologies!! Grey reef is and has been fishing excellent. Nymphing has been the top producer on light rigs with bugs like The Reef fly Shop PAL and Lazy Midge or many other reasonable midge patterns. Streamers getting plenty of love with a Spring Creek Bugger, Goldie , Nearnuff Crawadad and other brown and olive offerings with good slow water movement. Platte River Spider jigging and swinging slower tailouts a solid bet. The Flush starts next week for those who need to be here during the chaos.

We have been booking cottages and lodge spots like crazy. We have 3 new and one refurbed boat for The Reef fly Shop rental fleet. The 3 new boats are Hyde Montana Skiffs…these are the same design as the Adipose Drift Boats. There cottages have been undergoing some upgrades like new tile and shower doors etc. They will be even nicer for 2016. Expect some more North Platte Lodge and TRFS improvements/additions in the near future. We will continue to respond to our guests needs.
