Wyoming Fly Fishing Guide Report

Grey Reef Fly Fishing Report remains excellent. Miracle Mile Fly Fishing Report remains good and Fremont Canyon fly fishing report remains excellent. Grey Reef flows are still 800CFS, Miracle Mile flows are 6500cfs and Fremont Canyon flows are 78cfs.

Grey Reef is a midge, PMDs and yellow sally bonanza. Keep your rigs short and light as bugs in mid column are king. Grey Reef fishing is amazing and eggs and worms are completely unnecessary if not boring…but they will catch fish. Miracle Mile Golden Stones are moving so The Reef Fly Shop Inbred Stone is a great option along with beady leeches, and yellow sally/PMD selections. Caddis are not to be discounted at Miracle Mile, Grey Reef or Fremont Canyon. In fact, Fremont Canyon displays a very pointed caddis addiction but resident trout. Get them in weird places rummaging for caddis…fun!

We have a last minute cottage vacancy at The Reef fly Shop this week…get it quick! Central Wyoming fly fishing will benefit from the added water we are expecting to receive in Grey Reef. Bigger the better! Fishing is excellent at any flow but we like the increased speed and a touch more depth in the inbetweens.

Long term RV site rentals are available so call for details.
