-15F and snow in Alcova, Wyoming last week-this week sunny and 50s! Maybe spring has sprung? Regardless, we are having some beautiful weather and our guides are hoping to take full advantage. Had a good weekend, the nymph fishing on upper Grey Reef was solid with the standard spring fare-leeches, reef worms, deep purple, and various foam-wing midge patterns. Yesterday we put a couple boats downstream of Sechrist…water conditions were fair(1-2ft visibility) and the streamer fishing was spotty. The good ole sparkle minnow was our best bug…on a slow-medium strip/swing. We also managed a few on dries when the midges starting piling up in the back eddies.
