Summer time conditions prevail. Mornings to early afternoon are very good at Grey Reef with tricos, midges and PMDs. Guides are using soft hackles, Copper John’s, Prince Nymphs and CDC pheasant tails as attractors and a variety of little bugs but the foam wing RS2 is the most popular. Late afternoon things slow a bit but caddis patterns in the runs are fishing good. Flows are 1500cfs at Grey Reef. Miracle Mile flows are 1200cfs and similar rigs are employed with results ranging from very good to fair depending on the mood of the critters. Fremont is also fishing good. Dry fly options are solid at Fremont and the Reef with AM trico spinners and evening caddis.
