Fishing in central Wyoming may be put on hold for the day due to access issues. A strong winter storm nuked across the state and Alcova was spared the heavy snow. Casper received 10″ but at my house we were at 12″. Alcova totals are hard to nail down because the wind was moving it around. This storm started warm and will finish cold. Tonight we expect lows well below zero.
Wyoming HWY 220 is closed along with a number of local roads so best sit tight for a bit. Conditions will improve dramatically by this weekend where we should see highs in the 40s. Bluebird fishing pictures with a bunch of snow is hard to beat.
